Cookie notice.

Aviari does not use cookies. We set none of our own, and we do not use any analytics, advertising or tracking service that would set one. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

What we do store on your device

The app stores a small amount of data in your browser so that it can work at all. None of it is used to track you, and none of it is shared with anyone.

• Your sign-in session, stored by Google Firebase Authentication in your browser’s IndexedDB. Without it you would be signed out on every page load. It is cleared when you sign out.
• Unsent study time, stored in local storage. If you close a tab before the app has recorded your study time, the app keeps it locally and sends it on your next visit so the time is not lost.
• Which sign-in method you last used, stored in local storage, so we can show it to you next time. It is stored only on that device.

All of the above is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for, so under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations it does not require your consent.

Clearing it

Signing out clears your session. You can remove everything at any time by clearing site data for aviari.co in your browser settings. Doing so signs you out and discards any study time that had not yet been sent; it does not affect your account or your progress, which are stored on our servers.

Payments

Payments happen on Stripe’s own checkout page, not on ours. Stripe sets its own cookies there, for fraud prevention and to make checkout work, and those are governed by Stripe’s cookie and privacy policies.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or anything else that stores non-essential data, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
