Terms of service.

Last updated 25 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Aviari. Aviari is operated by Truffle Consultancy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (no. 14556226), registered office Acumen, 37th Floor, 1 Canada Square, London E14 5DY. By creating an account or buying a course you agree to them.

1. What Aviari is, and what it is not

Aviari is a revision aid for the theoretical knowledge examinations of a private pilot licence. It is not a flight school, not an approved training organisation, and not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK CAA or EASA. Our material is aligned to the UK CAA and EASA syllabi; it is not official examination content and gives no access to real examination questions.

You book and sit your examinations through your flight school as normal. We do not guarantee that you will pass, or that you will pass in any particular timeframe. Nothing on Aviari substitutes for professional flight instruction.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done under your account.
  • An account is for one person. You may not share your login, or sell, transfer or sublicense your access. We may suspend or close an account we reasonably believe is being shared or resold.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. What you are buying, and for how long

Each purchase is a single one-off payment for access to specific course material for a fixed period. Nothing renews automatically and there is no subscription. The price and the access period for each product are shown on the pricing page at the time you buy, and the access period runs from the day of purchase.

When your access period ends, your access to the material ends. Your account, your progress and your results remain, so if you buy again you continue from where you stopped. We may add to or improve the material during your access period; we may also correct or remove content that is wrong or out of date.

4. Immediate access, and your right to cancel

Your course is made available immediately after payment. Because of that, at checkout you are asked to confirm two things: that you want access to begin straight away, and that you understand you will lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel once it does. This is provided for by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

With that confirmation given and access granted, purchases are final and we do not offer refunds.

This does not affect your legal rights if something is actually wrong. If the material is faulty, not as described, or the service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, you keep your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and we will put it right, replace it or refund it as that Act requires. If you are charged in error, or you buy the same product twice, email hello@aviari.co and we will refund you.

5. Payment

Payments are taken by Stripe. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. We never receive or store your card details.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the material for your own study. You may not:

  • copy, republish, resell or distribute it, in whole or in part;
  • record, screenshot or scrape it for distribution;
  • use it to build or train a competing product or a machine-learning model;
  • attempt to gain access to parts of the service you have not paid for, or interfere with its operation.

All content on Aviari, including the study material, the 12-week plan and the PLOG framework, belongs to Truffle Consultancy Ltd or its licensors.

7. Ending your access

You may close your account at any time. Closing it does not entitle you to a refund of a purchase already made. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms in a serious or repeated way, and where the breach is our reason we will tell you why.

8. Our liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but we do not promise that it will always be available or uninterrupted. We are not liable for examination results, for costs arising from a failed or delayed examination, or for any loss that was not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published when you made it. If we make a material change we will tell you by email.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
